Terms for the private beta.
These are plain-language terms for the Fee private beta. If we have signed a separate agreement with you, for example with your company, that agreement applies first. For private individuals, these terms never take away rights that the law gives you as a consumer.
In plain words.
The beta is free of charge and private. Your access is personal. Fee can make mistakes, so you decide what to use of what Fee produces. We can change or close the beta for a good reason, and you can stop whenever you like.
Your access.
Access is personal, so do not share your login details. Access can be limited to certain accounts, devices or an amount of use. You must be at least 18 years old to use the beta.
You decide.
Read through what Fee suggests and what it has done before you use it or send it on. In the app for Mac and Windows, the report after a task shows what was changed. Fee can make mistakes, and you decide whether the result suits you. Keep your own copies of your files.
Free of charge.
The beta is free of charge. During the beta there is a limit on how much you can use Fee each day. If you reach it, Fee tells you when you can continue. If the terms change, we will tell you in advance, and you decide whether to continue.
How you may use Fee.
Do not use Fee to break the law, to get into systems or data you have no right to access, to spread malicious code, to disrupt other services or to get around security controls. Do not submit information that you are not allowed to share with the service and its providers. Do not try to get hold of the service’s own credentials or to get around its limits and approvals.
Providers and results.
Fee uses carefully selected providers of computing capacity, and different steps can be handled by different providers. Their availability, behaviour and processing region can change. Results can be incomplete or wrong, so important things should be checked by a person and tested where that makes sense.
Availability.
The beta is for trying Fee out and can be interrupted. We do not promise that the service always works. Ongoing disruptions are listed on the status page.
We may change Fee or close the beta for a good reason: to improve the service, to keep it safe, to follow the law, or because a provider we depend on changes or stops. A change costs you nothing, and we tell you in advance about changes that affect how you use Fee. If a change makes Fee clearly worse for you, you can stop using Fee at once.
If you want to stop.
You can stop using Fee whenever you like. To find out what we save about you, or to have it removed, see the privacy page.
If we have to pause the beta.
We can suspend access to protect users, the service or someone else, or if the beta terms are seriously broken.
Questions.
